Just across the Red River from the brewery in Moorhead, MN sits an immaculate replica of the Hopperstad Stave Church. The original Hopperstad is in Vik, Norway and was built around the year 1100. It’s one of the oldest of these iconic stave churches still standing.

The Hopperstad Series features new and unique hops in a single hop beer to let that hop’s flavor and aroma shine.

Huell Melon is a German hop bred by the Hop Research Center in Hüll and is considered a
descendent of cascade hops. Huell Melon has a  unique but mellow fruit character and flavors of ripe honeydew melon and strawberry. This beer’s lighter malt profile lets these characteristics shine through to create a crisp, clean and slightly fruity session IPA.
