Just across the Red River from the brewery in Moorhead, MN sits an immaculate replica of the Hopperstad Stave Church. The original Hopperstad is in Vik, Norway and was built around the year 1100. It’s one of the oldest of these iconic stave churches still standing.

The Hopperstad Series features new and unique hops in a single hop beer to let that hop’s flavor and aroma shine.

Idaho 7 is a very new hop variety only released in 2015. It’s only grown in Wilder, ID, and it’s characterized by it’s pungent tropical fruit flavor and aroma (think orange, apricot, red grapefruit, papaya) with big not es of resiny pine and hints of black tea. Hop heads love how this beer bursts with flavor and aroma while remaining very drinkable and sessionable at only 5% ABV.
