And also we’re hiring an events coordinator and we think you should apply. We’re looking for an all-around kickass person to be the head honcho for booking and organizing events at the brewery. This person will also be heavily involved in taproom operations. Whether the event is something we’re putting on or hosting for a third party, events in the brewery help build our brand and have become an important part of what we do at Drekker. 



  • Plan & execute various creative Drekker taproom events on a regular basis
  • Act as the main point of contact for event inquiries and reservations
  • Organize and manage on-site private events
  • Work closely with taproom manager and leadership team to assist and carry out daily operations
  • Regularly scheduled as shift manager responsible for opening & closing procedures
  • Assist with managing the Drekker Info email as well as the Drekker phone line (response time for both <24 hrs)
  • Managing food truck schedules
  • Continuously playing the role of brand ambassador
  • Fulfilling online merch orders


  •  Act as main contact for all in-taproom events
  • Monitor the events-specific email and addressing all requests / questions within 24 hours
  • Manage and maintain an up-to-date events calendar
  • Ensure that event timetables and needs are clearly communicated to staff at large
  • Staff appropriately for events
  • Lead set-up and tear-down of equipment / furniture for internal events
  • Organize and execute in-house regular/weekly events
  • Work with the marketing department to properly market Drekker events


  • Available to work full-time (40 hrs / week or more) primarily nights and weekends
  • Prior bar / restaurant / events management experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to glean insights from data and use information to improve taproom performance
  • Knowledge or interest in craft beer, including basic understanding of beer production (Cicerone Beer Server or similar certification preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively address problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and ability to handle your shit
  • Basic familiarity with tablet-based POS systems
  • Ability to lift 35-50 lbs
  • Ability to move full kegs with the aid of a dolly
  • Aptitude for and desire to learn the mechanical workings of taproom equipment in order to address problems quickly and efficiently
  • Aptitude for and desire to learn existing revenue management tools (and potentially develop new ones) to track key performance indicators
