Position Overview: 

We are seeking a creative, dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Communications and Marketing Manager. This role will play a crucial part in coordinating and executing communication and marketing tasks across various channels.


The Drekker Brewing Communications Manager’s primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance all internal and external communication channels. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a seamless flow of internal information through platforms such as Slack, Discord, and email newsletters. Additionally, this position will oversee external communication channels, including email, phone, and social media, ensuring a prompt and professional response to inquiries and an effective stream of information to customers.


This is a full time position. Anticipated hours are 9am – 5pm Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.

Core Responsibilities: 

Provide an ideal communication experience for all parties involved with Drekker and Brewhalla. Lead the team in proper communication channels amongst departments and ensure the entire Drekker and Brewhalla team are continually looped into company wide communication channels and that external partners and customers receive consistent and thorough communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement communication strategy to align with business goals
  • Manage internal communication channels, including Slack, Discord, and employee email newsletters
  • Manage external communication channels including general email account, social media direct messages, and social media postings
  • Write and send Drekker customer newsletter, Brewhalla Market newsletter, Hotel newsletter, Wholesaler newsletter, and Retailer newsletter
  • Write engaging and creative content for press releases, internal and external newsletters, event promotions, social media posts, and product descriptions.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Answer general email accounts, and handle various other communication tasks.
  • Monitor and respond to direct messages on all social media platforms and website contact forms.
  • Develop and implement social media plans regarding content ideas, content creation, copywriting, and scheduling for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences for communication
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Strong creative writing skills with a flair for comical, dark, casual, and goofy communication styles.
  • Excellent organizational skills to coordinate across multiple departments.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Customer service experience and the ability to respond promptly to inquiries on various communication channels.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Social media or communication manager
  • Hands on experience in content management

  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Self motivated and ability to work both independently and as a part of a team


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a communications or marketing role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with trends in the craft brewery industry and a passion for staying ahead of the curve.
