Purpose of the Role:

This role is the overnight heartbeat of Brewhalla hospitality. As the Overnight Janitor & Guest Service Agent, you’ll help ensure the building is clean, prepared, safe, and guest-ready for the next day while also serving as the primary point of contact for overnight hotel guest needs.

This role is for someone who: notices the little things before anyone else does, can confidently work alone overnight, takes initiative without needing constant direction, stays calm under pressure, genuinely enjoys helping people, and takes pride in creating exceptional spaces and experiences

You’ll be trusted to independently manage overnight guest interactions, problem solve in real time, complete detailed cleaning and setup tasks, and prepare Brewhalla for a successful next day of operations. If you’re someone who sees something that needs to be done and just handles it, but enjoys working independently, this role was built for you.


Schedule:

This is an overnight position. Typical shifts are Sunday-Thursday (11pm-7am) & Friday-Saturday (12am-8am). This role regularly works independently overnight and is responsible for helping maintain the safety, cleanliness, readiness, and hospitality experience of Brewhalla while most of the building sleeps.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary overnight contact for hotel guests
  • Handle late check-ins, guest requests, noise complaints, and overnight problem solvings.
  • Answer overnight phone calls and respond to emergencies or urgent guest needs
  • Create and modify hotel reservations as needed
  • Ensure hotel common spaces, entrances, bathrooms, and public areas remain clean and guest-ready
  • Set and prepare event spaces according to event specifications
  • Prepare housekeeping carts and housekeeping areas for the following day
  • Identify maintenance, cleanliness, or operational issues and proactively address or communicate them
  • Work independently overnight while maintaining professionalism, urgency, and accountability


Personal Skills Required

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Comfortable working independently overnight for extended periods
  • Strong self-starter mentality with excellent follow-through
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm and problem solve quickly in unexpected situations
  • Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and accountable
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Hospitality, hotel, janitorial, or customer service experience preferred but not required
